I refurbished this Miracle Dinghy last summer, but I've since built another boat, Selkie, my sailing canoe. I've realised that I've hardly sailed the Miracle since I've had Selkie. Time for the Miracle to move on to someone else.
The Miracle is an enjoyable boat to sail, I've cruised in the Firth of Forth, but have never raced her. She's light enough to manage singlehanded (hull weight 60kg) if you are launching from a slipway or a hard. I have usually launched off the beach - launching is OK, but pulling the boat on the trailer back up across soft sand is hard work. If I had easy launching nearby, I'd probably not have built a sailing canoe and wouldn't be selling the Miracle...
What's available: Complete and ready to sail dinghy with trailer and trailer board. Two sets of sails, one quite crisp and new, and one old and a bit baggy. The new set has one set of reefing points. The mast is a two-piece mast. However the two parts are stuck tight - all least I've not managed to separate them, though I've never spent much effort trying. There is also a spinnaker and spinnaker pole. I've never used the spinnaker, but it looks in good condition.
The boat is in Edinburgh.
